Cornerstone Protestant Campus Ministry:Cornerstone Campus Ministry is an interdenominational ministry that seeks to bring Christians together through worship, education, social events and service so they are better equipped to make a difference in the world. We worship together every Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. followed by a community Sunday supper. Throughout the week there are opportunities for small group Bible study groups, Tuesday Dinner and Devotions, leadership training seminars, social events and service projects in the community. We can also help you make a connection with a local congregation through our “adopt-a-family program. It’s fun! It’s friends” It’s a faith family! It’s food for your body and food for your soul! It’s faith in action! We have what you’re looking for! Our Campus Pastor and Peer Ministers are ready to help you make the connection.

UAlbany Hillel:
UAlbany Hillel is part of Hillel; the Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, whose mission is to “enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduates and graduate students so they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.” Hillel assists with Shabbat and holiday celebrations; social and educational programs; Israel programs; student leadership opportunities; counseling and referrals; and intercampus activities. We also provide information about local community events, employment and opportunities to study or tour in Israel, while serving as the liaison to the University at Albany and greater Albany regional Jewish Community. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for all Jewish students to find meaningful Jewish experiences on their own terms.
UAlbany Newman Association
Catholic Campus Ministry:
The Newman Association seeks to create a parish setting centering on you, the young adults of our Church. As a Catholic organization we focus on various ways in which you can continue to grow in your rich Catholic heritage. Social responsibility, service projects, your sacramental life are all but a few ways in which this peer lead organization meets the needs of young adult Catholics living in a contemporary world. At the center of our faith life is the Mass which we celebrate Sunday’s at 6:45PM in the Campus Center. This is a great opportunity for you to see and hear how your peers are active in the community. We have a history of service trips to our local Catholic Worker House, soup kitchens, the YMCA and helping men and women with various disabilities. We also have answered the universal call to service by going to Ecuador and New Orleans. Whether we are going bowling, out to dinner, playing golf or dodge ball, or celebrating the Mass, this student run UAlbany Newman Association is your voice in our Catholic call to serve others.
