Chapel House is currently conducting its Building Bridges of Faith Campaign to mark 40 years as a unique and vibrant part of life at the University at Albany campus. Our facility is open to students, faculty and staff, but it is primarily a place for students to retain contact with their religious roots and interact with other like-minded students in a serene and pleasing setting, close enough to easily get to, but sufficiently distanced from the hectic and often tension-filled clamor of campus life. Chapel House promotes interfaith cooperation. Students who enter Chapel House are the core of our future and will guide and influence our country not too long from now.
Chapel House is a non-profit institution that receives operating funds from the Capital Area Council of Churches Inc., Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany New York, United Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York, The University at Albany Foundation, and voluntary contributions from Board members and other interested individuals. These contributions support our operating budget but are not sufficient to cover the substantial cost of needed renovations and repairs to our 20- year- old facility.
